Buestad Construction renovated this 1912 Craftsman-Prairie style home, under the architect and client’s directive for a lighter look that brings focus to original decorative windows painted with iconic California landscapes. Exterior and interior upgrades—including new kitchen, bathrooms, and infrastructure—make modern living thrive in period style. Original architect A.W. Smith designed some of the East Bay’s most distinctive residences in the early 20th century.
