Alameda Colonial Revival California
1201 San Antonio 01 Facade v2

Buestad Construction worked closely with the client and design team to create numerous gathering spaces in the renovation of this c.1925 Colonial Revival home. After shoring up the house, Buestad built an entire new subterranean lower level of sun-filled rooms. An expanded kitchen also brings inviting space for family togetherness, as does the outdoor sitting area with its kitchen garden.

Alameda is an architecturally and historically rich community with over 10,000 buildings constructed before 1930. The 1906 San Francisco earthquake kept Colonial Revival’s more-restrained nature more in tune with the times.
